Elton Chigumbura has resigned from his post as Zimbabwe captain in three formats of the game, ZimbabChigumbura thanked his cricket board for the opportunity to lead the national side for the second time, adding that he enjoyed the challenges that came with the responsibility.we Cricket announced on Friday (January 22).Chigumbura, who was replaced by Brendan Taylor in June 2011, was at the helm of affairs once again only in limited-overs though, when the captaincy was split in July 2014. Taylor continued as skipper for the Test format before eventually signing a deal with Nottinghamshire at the end of the ICC World Cup in March 2015, leaving Chigumbura in charge of all three teams for the second time in his career.
